Introduction to LBO LBO crystal is an excellent frequency doubling crystal, which is currently a widely used frequency doubling device. The internal optical uniformity of the crystal is good, the transmission band is relatively wide, and the ratio has high matching efficiency and laser damage threshold.

LBO crystal has stable chemical properties, high mechanical hardness, and is easy to deliquesce, which is very attractive for some nonlinear optical processing. Because the birefringence of LBO crystals is smaller than that of BBO crystals, it helps to limit the spectral range of phase matching.
